V. creature): 1 Timothy 4:4; Revelation 5:13; Revelation 8:9 (Wis. 9:2 Wis. 13:5); contextually and metaphorically, κτίσμα Θεοῦ, transformed by divine power to a moral newness of soul, spoken of true Christians as created anew by regeneration (others take it here unrestrictedly), James 1:18 (see ἀπαρχή, metaphorically, a.; also κτίζω under the end, κτίσις, 2 a.); τά ἐν ἀρχή κτισματα Θεοῦ, of the Israelites, Sir. 36:20 (15).
