| 2Em verdade, as trevas cobrem a terra, a escuridão envolve todas as nações, mas sobre ti levanta-se a face de Yahweh e a sua Glória aparece sobre ti. | 2Pois eis que as trevas cobrirão a terra, e a escuridão os povos; mas sobre ti o Senhor virá surgindo, e a sua glória se verá sobre ti. | 2For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon thee, and his glory shall be seen upon thee. |
| 3As nações caminharão na tua Luz, e os reis, no clarão do teu sol nascente. | 3E nações caminharão para a tua luz, e reis para o resplendor da tua aurora. | 3And the Gentiles shall come to thy light, and kings to the brightness of thy rising. |
| 4Ergue os olhos em torno de vê: todos eles se reúnem e vêm de longe, as tuas filhas vêm carregadas nos braços ! | 4Levanta em redor os teus olhos, e vê; todos estes se ajuntam, e vêm ter contigo; teus filhos vêm de longe, e tuas filhas se criarão a teu lado. | 4Lift up thine eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to thee: thy sons shall come from far, and thy daughters shall be nursed at thy side. |
| 5Então o contemplarás e ficarás radiante; o teu coração estremecerá e pulsará forte de júbilo, porque a riqueza de todos os mares lhe será trazida; a ti chegarão os tesouros das nações. | 5Então o verás, e estarás radiante, e o teu coração estremecerá e se alegrará; porque a abundância do mar se tornará a ti, e as riquezas das nações a ti virão. | 5Then thou shalt see, and flow together, and thine heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto thee, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto thee. |
| 6Manadas de camelos cobrirão as tuas terras, camelos novos de Midiã e de Efá. Também virão todos os de Sabá transportando ouro e incenso e proclamando o louvor de Yahweh. | 6A multidão de camelos te cobrirá, os dromedários de Midiã e Efá; todos os de Sabá, virão; trarão ouro e incenso, e publicarão os louvores do Senhor. | 6The multitude of camels shall cover thee, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall shew forth the praises of the LORD. |
| 7Todos os rebanhos de Quedar se ajuntarão diante da tua presença, e os carneiros de Nebaiote a servirão; e serão também aceitos como ofertas e sacrifícios em meu altar, e cobrirei de esplendor a minha Casa gloriosa! | 7Todos os rebanhos de Quedar se congregarão em ti, os carneiros de Nebaoite te servirão; com aceitação subirão ao meu altar, e eu glorificarei a casa da minha glória. | 7All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto thee, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto thee: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory. |

| 9Em mim esperam as ilhas de todo o mundo, à frente vêm as embarcações mercantes, os navios de Tarshish, Társis, trazendo de longe os seus filhos, com muita prata e ouro, em honra a Yahweh, o seu Deus, o Santíssimo de Israel, porquanto ele te revestiu de glória e esplendor! | 9Certamente as ilhas me aguardarão, e vêm primeiro os navios de Társis, para trazerem teus filhos de longe, e com eles a sua prata e o seu ouro, para o nome do Senhor teu Deus, e para o Santo de Israel, porquanto ele te glorificou. | 9Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring thy sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD thy God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he hath glorified thee. |
| 10Estrangeiros reconstruirão os teus muros caídos, e seus líderes e governantes a servirão. Foi com ira e indignação que Eu te feri; apesar disto, com amor misericordioso, demonstrarei graça e compaixão para contigo! | 10E estrangeiros edificarão os teus muros, e os seus reis te servirão; porque na minha ira te feri, mas na minha benignidade tive misericórdia de ti. | 10And the sons of strangers shall build up thy walls, and their kings shall minister unto thee: for in my wrath I smote thee, but in my favour have I had mercy on thee. |
| 11As tuas portas permanecerão abertas; jamais serão fechadas, a fim de que dia e noite lhe tragam as riquezas das nações, com seus reis, governantes e comitivas. | 11As tuas portas estarão abertas de contínuo; nem de dia nem de noite se fecharão; para que te sejam trazidas as riquezas das nações, e conduzidos com elas os seus reis. | 11Therefore thy gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto thee the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought. |
| 12Em verdade, a nação e o reino que não te servirem perecerão sumariamente, serão absolutamente dizimados. | 12Porque a nação e o reino que não te servirem perecerão; sim, essas nações serão de todo assoladas. | 12For the nation and kingdom that will not serve thee shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted. |
| 13A glória do Líbano virá a ti; chegarão também juntos o pinheiro, o cipreste e o zimbro; todos com o propósito de oferecer adoração ao local onde se situa o meu Templo; e Eu estarei presente e glorificarei todo lugar onde tocarem os meus pés. | 13A glória do Líbano virá a ti; a faia, o olmeiro, e o buxo conjuntamente, para ornarem o lugar do meu santuário; e farei glorioso o lugar em que assentam os meus pés. | 13The glory of Lebanon shall come unto thee, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious. |
| 14Os filhos dos teus opressores virão e se inclinarão diante de ti em sinal de reverência e submissão; todos quantos a desprezaram e humilharam, prostrar-se-ão aos teus pés, e a chamarão Cidade de Yahweh, o SENHOR; Tsión, Sião do Santo de Israel. | 14Também virão a ti, inclinando-se, os filhos dos que te oprimiram; e prostrar-se-ão junto às plantas dos teus pés todos os que te desprezaram; e chamar-te-ão a cidade do Senhor, a Sião do Santo de Israel. | 14The sons also of them that afflicted thee shall come bending unto thee; and all they that despised thee shall bow themselves down at the soles of thy feet; and they shall call thee, The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel. |
| 15E assim, em vez de abandonada e odiada, sem que ninguém a quisesse visitar e andar por suas terras, farei de ti um verdadeiro orgulho e júbilo para todas as gerações. | 15Ao invés de seres abandonada e odiada como eras, de sorte que ninguém por ti passava, far-te-ei uma excelência perpétua, uma alegria de geração em geração. | 15Whereas thou hast been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through thee, I will make thee an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations. |
| 16Beberás o leite das nações e serás amamentada por mulheres ilustres. Então terás plena certeza que Eu, Yahweh, o SENHOR, sou o teu Salvador; o teu Redentor, o Poderoso de Jacó. | 16E mamarás o leite das nações, e te alimentarás ao peito dos reis; assim saberás que eu sou o Senhor, o teu Salvador, e o teu Redentor, o Poderoso de Jacó. | 16Thou shalt also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shalt suck the breast of kings: and thou shalt know that I the LORD am thy Saviour and thy Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob. |
| 17Em vez de bronze Eu te trarei ouro fino, em lugar de ferro, a melhor prata. Em vez de madeira Eu te trarei bronze, e em lugar de pedras, o mais puro dos minérios. Farei da paz o teu único dominador; da justiça, a tua autoridade suprema. | 17Por bronze trarei ouro, por ferro trarei prata, por madeira bronze, e por pedras ferro; farei pacíficos os teus oficiais e justos os teus exatores. | 17For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make thy officers peace, and thine exactors righteousness. |
| 18Em toda a tua terra não se tornará a falar em violência, tampouco em devastação e extermínio nas tuas fronteiras. Aos teus muros chamarás: Salvação, e aos teus portões: Louvor. | 18Não se ouvirá mais de violência na tua terra, de desolação ou destruição nos teus termos; mas aos teus muros chamarás Salvação, e às tuas portas Louvor. | 18Violence shall no more be heard in thy land, wasting nor destruction within thy borders; but thou shalt call thy walls Salvation, and thy gates Praise. |
| 19Não terás mais a necessidade do sol para fornecer a luz do dia; nem precisarás do brilho do luar, porquanto Yahweh será a tua luz para sempre, e o teu Deus será a tua glória e teu esplendor eternamente. | 19Não te servirá mais o sol para luz do dia, nem com o seu resplendor a lua te alumiará; mas o Senhor será a tua luz perpétua, e o teu Deus a tua glória. | 19The sun shall be no more thy light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto thee: but the LORD shall be unto thee an everlasting light, and thy God thy glory. |
| 20O teu sol não voltará a pôr-se, e a tua lua não minguará jamais, porque Yahweh será a tua luz perene, e os teus dias de luto e amargura chegarão ao fim! | 20Nunca mais se porá o teu sol, nem a tua lua minguará; porque o Senhor será a tua luz perpétua, e acabados serão os dias do teu luto. | 20Thy sun shall no more go down; neither shall thy moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be thine everlasting light, and the days of thy mourning shall be ended. |
| 21Então todo o teu povo será constituído de pessoas justas, e possuirá a terra para sempre. Ele é, portanto, o Renovo que plantei, obra das minhas próprias mãos, a fim de manifestar ao mundo a minha Glória. | 21E todos os do teu povo serão justos; para sempre herdarão a terra; serão renovos por mim plantados, obra das minhas mãos, para que eu seja glorificado. | 21Thy people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. |
| 22O mais humilde dos indivíduos se tornará mil, o menor será uma grande e poderosa nação. Eu Sou Yahweh, o SENHOR, e no momento certo farei que isso tudo aconteça muito depressa!” | 22O mais pequeno virá a ser mil, e o mínimo uma nação forte; eu, o Senhor, apressarei isso a seu tempo. | 22A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time. |
