| 4Desponta nas trevas como luz para os homens retos: | 4Aos retos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é compassivo, misericordioso e justo. | 4Unto the upright there ariseth light in the darkness: ח he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. |
| 5Bem-aventurado quem se compadece e empresta com generosidade, | 5Ditoso é o homem que se compadece, e empresta, que conduz os seus negócios com justiça; | 5A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: י he will guide his affairs with discretion. |
| 6O justo jamais será grandemente abalado; | 6pois ele nunca será abalado; o justo ficará em memória eterna. | 6Surely he shall not be moved for ever: ל the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance. |
| 7Não viverá temeroso, esperando más notícias: | 7Ele não teme más notícias; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor. | 7He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: נ his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD. |
| 8Seu coração está seguro e nada temerá. | 8O seu coração está bem firmado, ele não terá medo, até que veja cumprido o seu desejo sobre os seus adversários. | 8His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, ע until he see his desire upon his enemies. |
| 9Generosamente reparte o que possui com os pobres; | 9Espalhou, deu aos necessitados; a sua justiça subsiste para sempre; o seu poder será exaltado em honra. | 9He hath dispersed, he hath given to the poor; צ his righteousness endureth for ever; ק his horn shall be exalted with honour. |
| 10Por isso, o ímpio o observa e fica irado, | 10O ímpio vê isto e se enraivece; range os dentes e se consome; o desejo dos ímpios perecerá. | 10The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; ש he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: ת the desire of the wicked shall perish. |
