| 4Porquanto exclamas: ‘A minha doutrina é perfeita, e estou puro diante dos teus estatutos. | 4Pois dizes: A minha doutrina é pura, e limpo sou aos teus olhos. | 4For thou hast said, My doctrine is pure, and I am clean in thine eyes. |

| 6e te revelasse os segredos da sabedoria, pois ela tem dois lados. Ela é mais profunda que o Sheol, as profundezas da morte, da sepultura e do pó que volta a terra. | 8Como as alturas do céu é a sua sabedoria; que poderás tu fazer? Mais profunda é ela do que o Seol; que poderás tu saber? | 8It is as high as heaven; what canst thou do? deeper than hell; what canst thou know? |

| 11Pois ele conhece bem os homens falsos e enganadores, e reconhece a iniquidade logo que passa os olhos sobre os seres humanos. | 11Pois ele conhece os homens vãos; e quando vê a iniqüidade, não atentará para ela? | 11For he knoweth vain men: he seeth wickedness also; will he not then consider it? |

| 18Terás confiança em teu coração, porque agora há esperança; vivias perturbado, mas agora deitar-te-ás seguro e tranquilo. | 18E terás confiança, porque haverá esperança; olharás ao redor de ti e repousarás seguro. | 18And thou shalt be secure, because there is hope; yea, thou shalt dig about thee, and thou shalt take thy rest in safety. |
