| 34vós respondereis: ‘Teus servos se ocupam da criação e pastoreio de rebanhos desde crianças, assim como fizeram nossos antepassados’. Desse modo lhes será oferecida plena liberdade para habitar e trabalhar na região de Gósen, pois os egípcios renegavam o trabalho do pastoreio às castas inferiores de sua sociedade. | 34respondereis: Nós, teus servos, temos sido pastores de gado desde a nossa mocidade até agora, tanto nós como nossos pais. Isso direis para que habiteis na terra de Gósen; porque todo pastor de ovelhas é abominação para os egípcios. | 34That ye shall say, Thy servants' trade hath been about cattle from our youth even until now, both we, and also our fathers: that ye may dwell in the land of Goshen; for every shepherd is an abomination unto the Egyptians. |
