| 11O SENHOR te concederá grande prosperidade, no fruto saudável do teu ventre, nas muitas crias dos teus rebanhos e nas colheitas abundantes da tua terra generosa, nesta terra que o Eterno, sob juramento a teus pais, prometeu dar-te. | 11E o Senhor te fará prosperar grandemente no fruto do teu ventre, no fruto dos teus animais e no fruto do teu solo, na terra que o Senhor, com juramento, prometeu a teus pais te dar. | 11And the LORD shall make thee plenteous in goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy ground, in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers to give thee. |

| 47Considerando que não quiseste obedecer e servir ao SENHOR, teu Deus, com alegria e bondade de coração, na abundância de tudo o que Ele proveu para teu usufruto, | 47Por não haveres servido ao Senhor teu Deus com gosto e alegria de coração, por causa da abundância de tudo, | 47Because thou servedst not the LORD thy God with joyfulness, and with gladness of heart, for the abundance of all things; |
| 48então servirás ao teu inimigo, que o Eterno enviará contra ti, trazendo fome, sede, nudez, falta de absolutamente tudo; e o adversário ainda colocará um jugo de ferro sobre teu pescoço até exterminar-te! | 48servirás aos teus inimigos, que o Senhor enviará contra ti, em fome e sede, e em nudez, e em falta de tudo; e ele porá sobre o teu pescoço um jugo de ferro, até que te haja destruído. | 48Therefore shalt thou serve thine enemies which the LORD shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness, and in want of all things: and he shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck, until he have destroyed thee. |

| 54Até mesmo o ser humano mais fraterno e educado entre todos os membros do teu povo não demonstrará a menor compaixão por seu irmão, pela mulher que ama e pelos filhos que sobreviverem, | 54Quanto ao homem mais mimoso e delicado no meio de ti, o seu olho será mesquinho para com o seu irmão, para com a mulher de seu regaço, e para com os filhos que ainda lhe ficarem de resto; | 54So that the man that is tender among you, and very delicate, his eye shall be evil toward his brother, and toward the wife of his bosom, and toward the remnant of his children which he shall leave: |

| 56Do mesmo modo, quanto à mulher israelita mais gentil e delicada entre todas as de teu povo, tão fina e educada que não ousaria tocar a terra com a planta do pé, seu olho se tornará maligno para com o marido a quem ama e para com o próprio filho ou filha, | 56Igualmente, quanto à mulher mais mimosa e delicada no meio de ti, que de mimo e delicadeza nunca tentou pôr a planta de seu pé sobre a terra, será mesquinho o seu olho para com o homem de seu regaço, para com seu filho, e para com sua filha; | 56The tender and delicate woman among you, which would not adventure to set the sole of her foot upon the ground for delicateness and tenderness, her eye shall be evil toward the husband of her bosom, and toward her son, and toward her daughter, |
| 57não lhes entregando nem a placenta do ventre nem os filhos que gerar; porquanto a verdadeira intenção dela é devorá-los secretamente durante aquele horrível cerco e em meio aos grandes sofrimentos que teu adversário desferirá sobre as tuas cidades. | 57também ela será mesquinha para com as suas páreas, que saírem dentre os seus pés, e para com os seus filhos que tiver; porque os comerá às escondidas pela falta de tudo, no cerco e no aperto com que o teu inimigo te apertará nas tuas portas. | 57And toward her young one that cometh out from between her feet, and toward her children which she shall bear: for she shall eat them for want of all things secretly in the siege and straitness, wherewith thine enemy shall distress thee in thy gates. |
| 58Portanto, se não seguires fielmente todas as palavras desta Torá, Lei, escritas neste livro, e não amares reverentemente este Nome glorioso e terrível, Yahweh, o teu Deus, | 58Se não tiveres cuidado de guardar todas as palavras desta lei, que estão escritas neste livro, para temeres este nome glorioso e temível, o Senhor teu Deus; | 58If thou wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that thou mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD THY GOD; |
| 59então Ele enviará, como castigo, pestes horríveis sobre ti e sobre teus descendentes, desgraças terríveis e prolongadas, doenças graves e crônicas. | 59então o Senhor fará espantosas as tuas pragas, e as pragas da tua descendência, grandes e duradouras pragas, e enfermidades malignas e duradouras; | 59Then the LORD will make thy plagues wonderful, and the plagues of thy seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance. |
| 60Ele enviará contra ti todas as moléstias do Egito que temeste; e se apegarão a ti. | 60e fará tornar sobre ti todos os males do Egito, de que tiveste temor; e eles se apegarão a ti. | 60Moreover he will bring upon thee all the diseases of Egypt, which thou wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto thee. |
| 61Também o SENHOR fará vir sobre ti toda enfermidade e toda praga que não estão escritas no livro desta Torá, Lei, até que sejas absolutamente arrasado. | 61Também o Senhor fará vir a ti toda enfermidade, e toda praga que não está escrita no livro desta lei, até que sejas destruído. | 61Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will the LORD bring upon thee, until thou be destroyed. |
| 62Assim, restarão apenas uns poucos de vós em número de homens, vós que éreis, no passado, tão numerosos quanto as estrelas do céu! Porque não destes ouvidos à Palavra do SENHOR, vosso Deus. | 62Assim ficareis poucos em número, depois de haverdes sido em multidão como as estrelas do céu; porquanto não deste ouvidos à voz do Senhor teu Deus. | 62And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of heaven for multitude; because thou wouldest not obey the voice of the LORD thy God. |
| 63Do mesmo modo como foi agradável a Yahweh fazer-vos prosperar e multiplicar em número, também lhe será agradável destruir-vos e fazer-vos perecer. Sereis, pois, desarraigados da boa terra em que estais entrando para dela tomar posse. | 63E será que, assim como o Senhor se deleitava em vós, para fazer-vos o bem e multiplicar-vos, assim o Senhor se deleitará em destruir-vos e consumir-vos; e sereis desarraigados da terra na qual estais entrando para a possuirdes. | 63And it shall come to pass, that as the LORD rejoiced over you to do you good, and to multiply you; so the LORD will rejoice over you to destroy you, and to bring you to nought; and ye shall be plucked from off the land whither thou goest to possess it. |
| 64Então Yahweh vos dispersará por todos os povos, de um extremo da face da terra ao outro, e aí servirás a deuses estranhos que nem tu nem teus antigos pais conheceram, feitos de madeira e de pedra. | 64E o Senhor vos espalhará entre todos os povos desde uma extremidade da terra até a outra; e ali servireis a outros deuses que não conhecestes, nem vós nem vossos pais, deuses de pau e de pedra. | 64And the LORD shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone. |
| 65Em meio a essas nações pagãs jamais terás paz e tranquilidade, e a planta dos teus pés não encontrará um só lugar para descansar. Lá, Yahweh te deixará com o coração desesperado, olhos exaustos e aflitos de tanto esperar, e alma ansiosa! | 65E nem ainda entre estas nações descansarás, nem a planta de teu pé terá repouso; mas o Senhor ali te dará coração tremente, e desfalecimento de olhos, e desmaio de alma. | 65And among these nations shalt thou find no ease, neither shall the sole of thy foot have rest: but the LORD shall give thee there a trembling heart, and failing of eyes, and sorrow of mind: |
| 66Viverás em constante incerteza, cheio de medo e terror, dia e noite, sem nenhuma segurança quanto à vida. | 66E a tua vida estará como em suspenso diante de ti; e estremecerás de noite e de dia, e não terás segurança da tua própria vida. | 66And thy life shall hang in doubt before thee; and thou shalt fear day and night, and shalt have none assurance of thy life: |
| 67Ao raiar do dia pensarás: ‘Tomara que já fosse noite!’ E ao pôr do sol dirás: ‘Ah! Quem me dera fosse dia!’, por causa do pavor que se apoderará do teu coração e pelo flagelo que teus olhos contemplarão. | 67Pela manhã dirás: Ah! quem me dera ver a tarde; E à tarde dirás: Ah! quem me dera ver a manhã! pelo pasmo que terás em teu coração, e pelo que verás com os teus olhos. | 67In the morning thou shalt say, Would God it were even! and at even thou shalt say, Would God it were morning! for the fear of thine heart wherewith thou shalt fear, and for the sight of thine eyes which thou shalt see. |
| 68Yahweh te fará retornar ao Egito, de barco ou pelo caminho do qual eu te dissera: ‘Nunca mais o vereis!’ Lá sereis postos à venda para os teus inimigos como meros escravos e escravas, e mesmo assim, não haverá quem vos queira comprar! | 68E o Senhor te fará voltar ao Egito em navios, pelo caminho de que te disse: Nunca mais o verás. Ali vos poreis a venda como escravos e escravas aos vossos inimigos, mas não haverá quem vos compre. | 68And the LORD shall bring thee into Egypt again with ships, by the way whereof I spake unto thee, Thou shalt see it no more again: and there ye shall be sold unto your enemies for bondmen and bondwomen, and no man shall buy you. |
