| 5Então o rei de Israel convocou quatrocentos profetas, e lhes questionou: “Devemos partir e atacar Ramote-Gileade ou é melhor deixarmos de fazê-lo?” Eles responderam-lhe: “Vai, Deus a entregará nas mãos do rei!” | 5Então o rei de Israel ajuntou os profetas, quatrocentos homens, e lhes perguntou: Iremos à peleja contra Ramote-Gileade, ou deixarei de ir? Mas Josafá ponderou: “Não digas isso, ó rei.” | 7Ao que o rei de Israel respondeu a Jeosafá: Ainda há um homem por quem podemos consultar ao Senhor; eu, porém, o odeio, porque nunca profetiza o bem a meu respeito, mas sempre o mal; é Micaías, filho de Inlá. Mas Jeosafá disse: Não fale o rei assim. | 7And the king of Israel said unto Jehoshaphat, There is yet one man, by whom we may inquire of the LORD: but I hate him; for he never prophesied good unto me, but always evil: the same is Micaiah the son of Imla. And Jehoshaphat said, Let not the king say so. |

| 11E todos os profetas profetizavam o mesmo: “Ataca Ramote-Gileade e serás bem sucedido, porquanto o SENHOR a entregará nas mãos do rei!” | 11E todos os profetas profetizavam o mesmo, dizendo: Sobe a Ramote-Gileade, e serás bem sucedido, pois o Senhor a entregará nas mãos do rei. | 11And all the prophets prophesied so, saying, Go up to Ramothgilead, and prosper: for the LORD shall deliver it into the hand of the king. |
| 12O mensageiro que tinha ido chamar Micaías lhe anunciou: “Eis que os profetas são unânimes em suas profecias em favor do rei; vede que também a tua palavra seja como a de um deles, e fala o que é bom e agradável!” | 12O mensageiro que fora chamar Micaías lhe falou, dizendo: Eis que as palavras dos profetas, a uma voz, são favoráveis ao rei: seja, pois, também a tua palavra como a de um deles, e fala o que é bom. | 12And the messenger that went to call Micaiah spake to him, saying, Behold, the words of the prophets declare good to the king with one assent; let thy word therefore, I pray thee, be like one of theirs, and speak thou good. |
| 13Porém Micaías afirmou: “Assim como vive Yahweh, o SENHOR, o que meu Deus me revelar, isso declararei.” | 13Micaías, porém, disse: Vive o Senhor, que o que meu Deus me disser, isso falarei. | 13And Micaiah said, As the LORD liveth, even what my God saith, that will I speak. |

Respondeu ele: Subi, e sereis bem sucedidos; e eles serão entregues nas vossas mãos. | 14And when he was come to the king, the king said unto him, Micaiah, shall we go to Ramothgilead to battle, or shall I forbear? And he said, Go ye up, and prosper, and they shall be delivered into your hand. |

| 16Então o profeta declarou: “Vi todo o Israel disperso pelos montes, como ovelhas que não tem pastor; e Yahweh revelou: ‘Estes não têm senhor; volte cada um em paz para casa!” | 16Respondeu ele: Vi todo o Israel disperso pelos montes, como ovelhas que não têm pastor; e disse o Senhor: Estes não têm senhor; torne em paz cada um para sua casa. | 16Then he said, I did see all Israel scattered upon the mountains, as sheep that have no shepherd: and the LORD said, These have no master; let them return therefore every man to his house in peace. |

Eis que vi o SENHOR assentado no seu trono, e todo o exército celestial em pé à sua direita e à sua esquerda. | 18Prosseguiu Micaías: Ouvi, pois, a palavra do Senhor! Vi o Senhor assentado no seu trono, e todo o exército celestial em pé à sua direita e à sua esquerda. | 18Again he said, Therefore hear the word of the LORD; I saw the LORD sitting upon his throne, and all the host of heaven standing on his right hand and on his left. |
| 19E eis que Yahweh indagou: ‘Quem enganará Acabe, rei de Israel, para atacar Ramote-Gileade e lá perder a vida?’ E um sugeria de uma maneira, e outro, de outra. | 19E o Senhor perguntou: Quem induzirá Acabe, rei de Israel, a subir, para que caia em Ramote-Gileade? E um respondia de um modo, e outro de outro. | 19And the LORD said, Who shall entice Ahab king of Israel, that he may go up and fall at Ramothgilead? And one spake saying after this manner, and another saying after that manner. |
| 20Então, finalmente, surgiu um espírito e apresentou-se ao SENHOR dizendo: ‘Eu o enganarei!’. | 21E o espírito respondeu: ‘Irei e serei um espírito mentiroso na boca de todos os profetas do rei’ Então declarou-lhe o SENHOR: ‘Vá e realiza teu intento. Tu, de fato, o enganarás e prevalecerás contra ele!’ | 21E ele disse: Eu sairei, e serei um espírito mentiroso na boca de todos os seus profetas. Ao que disse o Senhor. Tu o induzirás, e prevalecerás; sai, e faze assim. | 21And he said, I will go out, and be a lying spirit in the mouth of all his prophets. Yahweh, o SENHOR, portanto, é quem determinou a tua desgraça e derrota!” 1 | 22Agora, pois, eis que o Senhor pôs um espírito mentiroso na boca destes teus profetas; o Senhor é quem falou o mal a respeito de ti. | 22Now therefore, behold, the LORD hath put a lying spirit in the mouth of these thy prophets, and the LORD hath spoken evil against thee. |
| 23Imediatamente Zedequias, filho de Quenaaná, aproximou-se, deu um tapa no rosto do profeta Micaías e interrogou: “Como o Espírito do SENHOR me deixou para falar a ti?” | 23Então Zedequias, filho de Quenaaná, chegando-se, feriu a Micaías na face e disse: Por que caminho passou de mim o Espírito do Senhor para falar a ti? | 23Then Zedekiah the son of Chenaanah came near, and smote Micaiah upon the cheek, and said, Which way went the Spirit of the LORD from me to speak unto thee? |
| 24Ao que Micaías respondeu: “Tu o verás no dia que tiveres de vaguear de um aposento a outro a fim de te esconderes.” | 24Respondeu Micaías: Eis que tu o verás naquele dia, quando entrares numa câmara interior para te esconderes. | 24And Micaiah said, Behold, thou shalt see on that day when thou shalt go into an inner chamber to hide thyself. |
| 25Então o rei exclamou com indignação: “Pegai Micaías e levai-o de volta a Amom, o governador da cidade, e a Joás, filho do rei, | 25Então disse o rei de Israel: Tomai Micaías, e tornai a levá-lo a Amom, o govenador da cidade, e a Joás, filho do rei, | 25Then the king of Israel said, Take ye Micaiah, and carry him back to Amon the governor of the city, and to Joash the king's son; |

| 27E Micaías ainda concluiu: “Se voltares em paz, Yahweh, o SENHOR, não falou por mim.” E disse mais: “Ouvi, todos do povo, as palavras que ora vos proclamo!” | 27Mas disse Micaías: se tu voltares em paz, o Senhor não tem falado por mim. Disse mais: Ouvi, povos todos! | 27And Micaiah said, If thou certainly return in peace, then hath not the LORD spoken by me. And he said, Hearken, all ye people. |
| 28Então o rei de Israel e Josafá, rei de Judá, partiram com o objetivo de atacar Ramote-Gileade. | 28Subiram, pois, o rei de Israel e Jeosafá, rei de Judá, a Ramote-Gileade. | 28So the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat the king of Judah went up to Ramothgilead. |
| 29E o rei de Israel confidenciou a Josafá: “Eu me disfarçarei e entrarei na batalha; tu, porém, vestes os trajes reais!” E assim se fez. O rei de Israel disfarçou-se, e ambos foram para o combate. | 29E disse o rei de Israel a Jeosafá: Eu me disfarçarei, e entrarei na peleja; tu, porém, veste os teus trajes reais. | 31Então, quando os capitães dos carros avistaram Josafá, imediatamente deduziram: “Eis que vem ai o rei de Israel!” E o cercaram para atacá-lo, mas Josafá clamou, e Yahweh, o SENHOR, o livrou. Deus os afastou dele, | 31Pelo que os capitães dos carros, quando viram a Jeosafá, disseram: Este é o rei de Israel. Viraram-se, pois, para pelejar contra ele; mas Jeosafá clamou, e o Senhor o socorreu, e os desviou dele. | 31And it came to pass, when the captains of the chariots saw Jehoshaphat, that they said, It is the king of Israel. Therefore they compassed about him to fight: but Jehoshaphat cried out, and the LORD helped him; and God moved them to depart from him. |

| 33De repente, um soldado disparou seu arco ao acaso e atingiu o rei de Israel entre os encaixes da sua armadura abdominal. Então o rei ordenou ao condutor do seu carro: “Volta e tira-me da batalha, porque estou gravemente ferido!” | 33Então um homem entesou e seu arco e, atirando a esmo, feriu o rei de Israel por entre a couraça e a armadura abdominal. Pelo que ele disse ao carreteiro: Dá volta, e tira-me do exército, porque estou gravemente ferido. | 33And a certain man drew a bow at a venture, and smote the king of Israel between the joints of the harness: therefore he said to his chariot man, Turn thine hand, that thou mayest carry me out of the host; for I am wounded. |
| 34O combate ficou mais acirrado durante todo aquele dia, e assim, o rei de Israel teve que enfrentar os arameus em pé no seu carro, até o final da tarde. E, ao pôr-do-sol, morreu Acabe. | 34E a peleja tornou-se renhida naquele dia; contudo o rei de Israel foi sustentado no carro contra os sírios até a tarde; porém ao pôr do sol morreu. | 34And the battle increased that day: howbeit the king of Israel stayed himself up in his chariot against the Syrians until the even: and about the time of the sun going down he died. |
