Não quer cumprir seu dever de cunhado para comigo!’ | 7Mas, se o homem não quiser tomar sua cunhada, esta subirá à porta, aos anciãos, e dirá: Meu cunhado recusa suscitar a seu irmão nome em Israel; não quer cumprir para comigo o dever de cunhado. | 7And if the man like not to take his brother's wife, then let his brother's wife go up to the gate unto the elders, and say, My husband's brother refuseth to raise up unto his brother a name in Israel, he will not perform the duty of my husband's brother. |

Se ele persistir, e disser: Não quero tomá-la; | 8Then the elders of his city shall call him, and speak unto him: and if he stand to it, and say, I like not to take her; |
| 9então a cunhada se aproximará dele na presença dos anciãos, tirar-lhe-á uma das sandálias, cuspirá em seu rosto e fará esta declaração: ‘É precisamente isto que se faz contra um homem que não dá a seu irmão descendentes em Israel!’ | 9sua cunhada se chegará a ele, na presença dos anciãos, e lhe descalçará o sapato do pé, e lhe cuspirá ao rosto, e dirá: Assim se fará ao homem que não edificar a casa de seu irmão. | 9Then shall his brother's wife come unto him in the presence of the elders, and loose his shoe from off his foot, and spit in his face, and shall answer and say, So shall it be done unto that man that will not build up his brother's house. |

| 11Quando dois homens, irmãos israelitas, estiverem brigando, e a esposa de um deles aproximar-se na tentativa de livrar o marido daquele que o ataca e agarrar o agressor pelos órgãos genitais, | 11Quando pelejarem dois homens, um contra o outro, e a mulher de um chegar para livrar a seu marido da mão daquele que o fere, e ela, estendendo a mão, lhe pegar pelas suas vergonhas, | 11When men strive together one with another, and the wife of the one draweth near for to deliver her husband out of the hand of him that smiteth him, and putteth forth her hand, and taketh him by the secrets: |

| 15Terás um peso íntegro e equânime, medidas íntegras e justas, para que teus dias se prolonguem felizes sobre o solo que Yahweh, teu Deus, te concede. | 15Terás peso inteiro e justo; terás efa inteira e justa; para que se prolonguem os teus dias na terra que o Senhor teu Deus te dá. | 15But thou shalt have a perfect and just weight, a perfect and just measure shalt thou have: that thy days may be lengthened in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. |
| 16Porque o Eterno, o teu Deus, abomina a todos que praticam tais injustiças, a todos quantos negociam desonestamente! | 16Porque é abominável ao Senhor teu Deus todo aquele que faz tais coisas, todo aquele que pratica a injustiça. | 16For all that do such things, and all that do unrighteously, are an abomination unto the LORD thy God. |

| 19Quando o SENHOR, teu Deus, te der o descanso de todos os inimigos ao teu redor, na terra que ele te concede para dela tomares posse, deverás apagar a memória de Amaleque de debaixo do céu. Não te esqueças disso! | 19Quando, pois, o Senhor teu Deus te houver dado repouso de todos os teus inimigos em redor, na terra que o Senhor teu Deus te dá por herança para a possuíres, apagarás a memória de Amaleque de debaixo do céu; não te esquecerás. | 19Therefore it shall be, when the LORD thy God hath given thee rest from all thine enemies round about, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee for an inheritance to possess it, that thou shalt blot out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven; thou shalt not forget it. |
