| 8não te repreendo pela falta de sacrifícios nem pelos holocaustos, pois trazes as tuas oferendas dia após dia. | 8Não te repreendo pelos teus sacrifícios, pois os teus holocaustos estão de contínuo perante mim. | 8I will not reprove thee for thy sacrifices or thy burnt offerings, to have been continually before me. |
| 9Contudo, não tenho necessidade de nenhum novilho dos teus estábulos, nem de bodes dos teus apriscos, | 9Da tua casa não aceitarei novilho, nem bodes dos teus currais. | 9I will take no bullock out of thy house, nor he goats out of thy folds. |
| 10pois todos os animais da floresta são meus, como o são as cabeças de gado, aos milhares, nas colinas. | 10Porque meu é todo animal da selva, e o gado sobre milhares de outeiros. | 10For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. |
| 11Conheço todas as aves das montanhas, e os répteis do campo me pertencem. | 11Conheço todas as aves dos montes, e tudo o que se move no campo é meu. | 11I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine. |

| 14Como sacrifício, oferece a Deus a tua ação de graças e cumpre os teus votos para com o Altíssimo; | 14Oferece a Deus por sacrifício ações de graças, e paga ao Altíssimo os teus votos; | 14Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay thy vows unto the most High: |
| 15invoca-me no dia do perigo! Eu te livrarei, e tu me darás glória”. | 15e invoca-me no dia da angústia; eu te livrarei, e tu me glorificarás. | 15And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me. |
| 16Entretanto, ao ímpio Deus afirma: De que te serve repetires sem fim os meus preceitos e teres nos lábios a minha aliança? | 16Mas ao ímpio diz Deus: Que fazes tu em recitares os meus estatutos, e em tomares o meu pacto na tua boca, | 16But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? |
| 17Tu, que detestas as minhas disciplinas e dás as costas às minhas palavras! | 17visto que aborreces a correção, e lanças as minhas palavras para trás de ti? | 17Seeing thou hatest instruction, and castest my words behind thee. |
| 18Ao encontrar um ladrão, a ele te associas como amigo, e com adúlteros te misturas alegremente. | 18Quando vês um ladrão, tu te comprazes nele; e tens parte com os adúlteros. | 18When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. |
| 19Soltas facilmente a tua boca para o mal, e tua língua é hábil para tramar mentiras. | 19Soltas a tua boca para o mal, e a tua língua trama enganos. | 19Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. |
| 20Assentas-te à vontade para falar contra teu irmão, e és rápido para caluniar o filho de tua própria mãe! | 20Tu te sentas a falar contra teu irmão; difamas o filho de tua mãe. | 20Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. |
| 21Ficaria Deus calado diante de tudo quanto tens feito? Pensavas que Eu era semelhante a ti? Eis, no entanto, que agora Eu te acusarei veementemente, sem omitir falta alguma! | 21Estas coisas tens feito, e eu me calei; pensavas que na verdade eu era como tu; mas eu te argüirei, e tudo te porei à vista. | 21These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes. |
| 22Considerai, pois, nisso vós, que esqueceis a Deus, senão vos faço em pedaços e ninguém vos poderá libertar. | 22Considerai pois isto, vós que vos esqueceis de Deus, para que eu não vos despedace, sem que haja quem vos livre. | 22Now consider this, ye that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver. |
| 23Quem me oferece sua sincera gratidão como sacrifício, honra-me, e Eu revelarei a salvação de Deus ao que anda nos meus caminhos! | 23Aquele que oferece por sacrifício ações de graças me glorifica; e àquele que bem ordena o seu caminho eu mostrarei a salvação de Deus. | 23Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God. |
